By creating an account or using Linkue — whether as a student or coach — you confirm that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What Linkue Is

Linkue is a listing and discovery platform only. We connect students seeking to learn skills with coaches who offer sessions. Linkue does not employ coaches, organize sessions, supervise instruction, or act as an agent for either party.

Coaches are independent individuals offering their services directly to students. Linkue makes no representations about the quality, safety, accuracy, or legality of any coaching services listed on the platform.

2. Platform Liability Disclaimer

Linkue is not responsible for:

  • Any predatory, harmful, abusive, or illegal behavior by coaches or students
  • Coaches accepting payment and failing to deliver sessions, or taking money unlawfully
  • Physical or psychological injuries arising from coaching sessions
  • Disputes between coaches and students over payment, conduct, or session quality
  • Misrepresentation by coaches of their qualifications, experience, or identity
  • Any harm, loss, or damage arising from interactions arranged through Linkue

You use Linkue entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend meeting coaches in public places for initial sessions, informing someone of your whereabouts, and trusting your instincts. Report any safety concerns immediately to safety@linkue.com.

3. Payments Disclaimer

Linkue does not process, hold, or facilitate payments between students and coaches. All financial transactions are private arrangements directly between the student and coach.

Linkue accepts no liability for unpaid sessions, fraudulent payment requests, payment disputes, chargebacks between users, or any financial loss resulting from transactions arranged through the platform.

If a coach requests payment through an unusual method or requests payment upfront for multiple sessions before delivering any, exercise caution and report suspicious behavior to safety@linkue.com.

Coach subscriptions: Linkue charges coaches a monthly subscription fee (not students). This is the only payment processed by Linkue. Subscription billing starts on the date of the coach's first booking. See the Billing Policy in the Coach Sign-Up flow for full terms.

4. Verified Badge Disclaimer

The Linkue Verified badge indicates only that we have reviewed documents submitted by the coach (such as a government ID or credential). It does not constitute:

  • A background check or DBS check
  • Confirmation of professional qualifications or fitness to practice
  • An endorsement or recommendation of the coach by Linkue
  • A guarantee of safety or suitability

Qualifications are never required to coach on Linkue. Anyone may list themselves as a coach. The Verified badge reflects document review only.

5. Message Monitoring

All messages sent through the Linkue in-platform chat system are monitored for safety purposes and to detect billing trigger events for coach subscriptions.

By sending or receiving messages on Linkue, you consent to this monitoring. Specifically:

  • Messages may be reviewed by Linkue staff to identify and act on safety concerns
  • Automated systems monitor chats to detect the first booking confirmation, which activates coach subscription billing
  • Messages that violate our Terms of Service — including requests for off-platform contact before a booking, harassment, or financial fraud — may result in account suspension

Do not share personal contact details (phone numbers, home addresses, personal emails) in chat until you have made a booking through Linkue.

6. Data We Collect

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers without explicit consent.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email hello@linkue.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

Note: some data (booking records, billing history) may be retained for legal or financial compliance even after account deletion.

Terms of Service

Important: By creating an account or using Linkue in any way, you confirm you are 18 years of age or older and agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. About Linkue

Linkue is an online marketplace that connects independent coaches with students seeking to develop skills. Linkue does not employ coaches, does not provide coaching services directly, and does not facilitate or process payments between students and coaches. We are a discovery and scheduling platform only.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Linkue. By registering an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Linkue reserves the right to terminate accounts where this requirement is not met. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. Coaches Are Independent Contractors

All coaches listed on Linkue are self-employed independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Linkue. Coaches are solely responsible for the content they teach, the advice they provide, and their own compliance with applicable laws (including tax obligations, insurance, and professional licensing where required). Linkue is not liable for any harm, loss, or injury resulting from coaching sessions, advice given, or any interaction between coaches and students.

4. "Verified" Badge

The Verified badge confirms that a coach has completed our identity verification process. It does not confirm professional qualifications, certifications, licensing, or suitability for any particular subject matter. Students are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging a coach.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Linkue charges coaches a monthly subscription fee to maintain a listing on the platform. This is the only payment processed by Linkue. We do not handle, hold, process, or take commission from any payments between students and coaches. Any financial arrangement for sessions is made directly between the student and coach.

Coach subscriptions are billed monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for full details.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use Linkue if you are under 18 years of age
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or credentials
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content or reviews
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any user of the platform
  • Use Linkue to promote or engage in illegal activity
  • Attempt to circumvent platform systems or fees
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission

7. Reviews & Content

Reviews may only be submitted by students who have completed a confirmed session with the relevant coach. Linkue reserves the right to remove any review that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent. Coaches and students retain ownership of content they post, but grant Linkue a license to display it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to harm arising from coaching sessions, reliance on advice from coaches, or disputes between users. Linkue's total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user to Linkue in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

Linkue reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Coaches whose accounts are terminated will not be entitled to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Florida, except where prohibited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

Linkue may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where possible.

Refund Policy

Note: Linkue does not process payments between students and coaches. This policy applies only to coach subscription fees charged by Linkue.

Coach Subscription Fees

Coach subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription begins on the date of your first confirmed booking on the platform.

Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the admin portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to your listing until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period.

Refund Eligibility

  • Within 7 days of first charge: Full refund available if you have not yet received any bookings through the platform.
  • After 7 days or after first booking: No refund is available.
  • Account suspended for Terms violation: No refund is available.

Student Session Payments

Linkue does not process, hold, or take any portion of payments made between students and coaches. Any payment disputes regarding sessions must be resolved directly between the student and coach. Linkue has no ability to issue refunds for session fees.

How to Request a Refund

To request a subscription refund, contact us through the Contact page. Please include your registered email address and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
